The EU-supported Public Health Institutes Strengthening in Nigeria (EUSPIN) initiative demonstrates how investments in systems, data, and workforce capacity are improving health services. At the launch event in Abuja, Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare, Dr. Iziaq Adekunle Salako, emphasized that strengthening public health institutions is vital for tackling Nigeria’s dual burden of infectious and noncommunicable diseases.
